BY TFN STAFF
After years of regressive criminal justice policies and practices, we are seeing growing bipartisan recognition that criminal justice reforms are crucial to the future of racial equity, economic opportunity and democracy. Advocacy groups are acting with greater urgency and coordination to drive equitable systems change and practice in a number of places across the country. These efforts are increasingly supported by place-based collaboratives of national and local funders. Philanthropy has an opportunity to use this moment to galvanize unlikely partnerships with potential to both change systems to center equity and considers policy that empowers rather than controls.
Join us for Seizing the Moment: Funder Collaboratives for Criminal Justice Reform, the latest in TFN’s Bridge the Divide learning series. This session will feature place-based collaborative funder models for criminal justice reform, and how stakeholders are organizing to capture momentum and advance criminal justice reform across the country.
